Welcome to One-Way Student Ministries! One-Way Student Ministries is the Student Ministry of Broadway Baptist Church. It is a ministry for teenagers in grades 6-12. We have a number of students in each grade, and we have a number of students from different schools (over 12 schools in the area). The Student Ministry exists to provide students the opportunity to share the gospel of Jesus Christ, strengthen their own faith, serve other people, spend time with Christians, and sincerely worship God.
We would love to have you visit our youth group. We have small groups on Sunday morning at 8:30 AM and 9:45 AM. This is a great opportunity to get to know the students who already attend. We also have a large youth service on Wednesday evenings at 6:30. We hang out, have Christ-exalting worship, hear a message from God’s Word, and play a game. We would love to have you visit!
High school students are invited to play Broomball at the Mediacom Ice Rink on February 20 from 8-10 PM. We’ll leave the church at 6:45 PM and stop by a local coffee house, so bring money if you want coffee, hot cocoa, etc. Return time is approx 10:30 PM.
Middle School Conference registration fee of $25 (twenty five) is due no later than February 10, along with the medical release form. Checks should be made out to Broadway Baptist Church.
The next ski trip payment of $100 (one hundred) is due on February 14.
Ski trip deposit of $50 is due no later than Jan 24. $100.00 is due on Feb 14 and the balance of $150.00 (or $170.00 for adults) is due on March 14.
Just a reminder, SNAC night is this Sunday (Jan 17) following the evening service. Also, there is a parent meeting at 7:00 for all parents of youth to hear about upcoming events and activities!
I will be starting a new lesson series on Wednesday’s. It is called “The Struggle We All Face”. The new series is on 1 John. It will be four weeks, and will cover;

- Truth – Week 3: The Truth; The Whole Truth and Nothing but the Truth
- Assurance of Salvation – Week 4: Are You Sure?
